Who we are

KaitTech Solutions is a computer repair and tech-help business owned and operated by Kaitlin Guy, offering on-site service in central Maine and remote support nationwide. For anything in this policy, contact kait@kaittech.solutions or (601) 641-9460.

What we collect, and why

This website only collects what you type into its forms:

• Booking form: your name, email, phone, town, the service you need, preferred times, and your description of the problem — used to schedule and prepare for your appointment.
• Remote-access consent form: your name, email, phone, device description, typed signature, and date — used to document your written permission before any remote session, as described on the consent page.
• Contact form: your name, email, and message — used to reply to you.

Form submissions are delivered directly to KaitTech's business email. They are not stored in a database on this website, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages; Venmo and Cash App payments happen inside those apps. Your card or account numbers never pass through this website, and we never see or store them.

Remote sessions

Remote support uses RustDesk or AnyDesk screen-sharing, only after you sign the consent form and personally start the session. You see every action on your screen and can end the session at any time. We do not install background access, and no remote connection is possible after the session ends.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly technical cookies for security — for example, to block malicious bots — and keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for a short period to protect the site. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive the standard technical request data (like your IP address) needed to deliver the font files.

What's on your computer

Repair work sometimes means seeing what's on a machine — files, browsing history, installed programs. What's on your computer stays your business: we look only where the repair requires, we don't copy your personal files except as needed for a backup or transfer you asked for, and we don't share what we see with anyone.

How long we keep things

Emails from the forms, signed consent forms, and invoices are kept as ordinary business records. If you'd like something corrected or deleted, email kait@kaittech.solutions and we'll do it unless a record has to be kept for legal or tax reasons.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date at the top.
